Wild Bird Care

Despite the abundance of normal food, the RSPB and BTO recommend the public to feed and care for our wild birds throughout the year.  Wild bird care has become a serious national past time with research showing that 60% of our adult population now feed their birds regularly.

Bird Food

We stock a comprehensive range of seed mixes from Gardman, to include Sunflower hearts, thistle seed, high energy mix and robin seed. Peanut kernels, mixed seeds and sunflower seeds are packed especially for Carpenders Park Nursery under strict quality control guidelines.

In addition, we stock a wide range of high energy suet cakes, treats & nuggets in 5 flavours including berry, peanut and apple.

Fat snax are another very popular high energy food source, especially beneficial to birds during cold spells.  These are packed in 4's or 25's and tubs of 50. We also stock a giant fat snax weighing 500g.

Mealworms are the best kept secret in wild bird feeding, now available to you and your wild birds  This product is available in re-sealable pouches and also in plastic tubs.

Bird Feeders

To complement our range of foods, we have an extensive selection of feeders from Gardman, Nuttery, Chapelwood and Westwoods.

Feeders range from the traditional plastic tube seed feeders and wire mesh peanut feeders to heavy duty squirrel proof versions.

Bird Tables

We stock quality bird tables from Gardman & Capelwood. These are produced from FSC Certified Timber and are pressure treated to give lasting pleasure and durability.

Nest Boxes

Our range of nest boxes is from Gardman, and constructed only from FSC Certified Timber.
